Isle of Grain, England


Known in the ancient times as Grain or St James in the Isle of Grain, the Isle of Grain is located in north Kent, England. Isle of Grain stretches on the eastern end of the Hoo Peninsula. It is better known to be an important bird sanctuary. The southern part of the island is an important industrial area. The island features the Grain fort and a tower. The South Eastern Railway connects you to London at London Bridge.
