Isle of Dogs, London

London is an amazing place and I have always been enchanted with it. Over here, I want to describe the fascination I developed for Isle of Dogs. Isle of Dogs is an island which is on the East End of London and is bordered from three sides- east, south and west. It is surrounded by one of the largest meanders in the River Thames. The bus routes that will take you to the Isle are London Buses route 135, 277, D3, D6, D7, and D8. The nearest underground station to the Isle is the London Underground station in Canary Wharf and the Docklands Light Railway Stations.

The Mosaics of Tunisia

Tunisia is popular for its star trek, dates, Sahara desert and more prominently for the Roman mosaics. The mosaics which belong to Romans, Punic and Islamic period are well stored in the Bardo Museum of Tunis. Classified into different region, you can find the special mosaic of every region. The most famous is the mosaic found in the Sousse section which features the Triumph of Neptune. The mosaics found are mainly the scenes which feature hunting activities, fishes, games and mythological Gods and Goddesses.

Cathedrale de Notre Dame de Paris

Seeing the cathedral in photos is totally different to visiting it. I had once the pleasure of visiting this Gothic Roman Catholic Church. The interior was wow! It showed the marvelous architecture of medieval times. On climbing to the North tower of the Cathedral, I was amazed to see the western facade with some most frightening gargoyles and also the beautiful view of Paris city. My hotel in Paris was too far from the church so unfortunately I did not have much time to explore every bit of the Cathedrale.

Enigmatic Tunisian Tour

I don't know, if I will ever get a chance to do this in whole lifetime. When I was doing my graduation, I had got a chance to visit the historical places in Tunisia. Tunisia, I must say is a land of rich culture and heritage as it had diverse successors. When I went on my historical travel to Tunisia, I got to see the historic trails of such great civilizations in Tunis, Ain Draham, Gafsa, Tatouine and Sousse. It was really and overwhelming experience and the country has immensely attracted me sinve then. It is lovely.

Tunisia holds the enigmatism of old traditions blended beautifully with modernity.

Travel to Tozeur

Tozeur is known all over the world for its dates. When I was in Tozeur last month, I found the desert town very beautiful and charming. This pretty desert town has a 14th century medina and beautiful gardens, which was amazing to see. The Dar Chariet Museum has in its display ancient coins, doors, bridal apparel and some antique weapons. The medina, I found, as if it had all the traditional Tunisian arts and artifacts. The medina of Tozeur was very authentic and so were the items available. I made good purchase on Berber jewelry and ornaments.

Trip to Djerba

I cannot forget my travel to Djerba, Tunisia. It is a wonderful island I must say, a beautiful island in North African Coast, specifically. I can still feel the heat of this island, its calm air with the aroma of flowers and its ring-shaped golden sands. As I had enough time to stay in Djerba, I found its neighboring places like Ajim, El-May, Fatou, Guellala, and Sedouikech to be an interesting place to visit.
